{product review + giveaway} Cuisine Soleil Organic Gluten-Free Flours

Sometimes  being a blogger – particularly a food blogger – has some pretty sweet perks. I will be perfectly honest and admit that I don’t really make lots of money off my blog but I am contacted by companies from time to time who would like me to sample their products and share my thoughts with you guys.

In recent months the number of product offerings coming my way has increased substantially and not only do I get to sample some goodies but generally I am able to pass on a promotion or savings on to you guys and sometimes I get to give some sweet product away too.

Cuisine Soleil Gluten Free Flours

A while back I was contacted by Cuisine Soleil to sample some of their organic gluten free flours. They asked which ones I wanted to try and I decided to reach farther out of my gluten-free flour comfort zone and try some that I hadn’t tried before. They sent me buckwheat flour, lentil flour and millet flour. I have three different recipes posted using these three flours. These recipes will be coming to you over the next three days so stay tuned.

I love that these flours are organic and that this is a Canadian company. They were nicely milled.

Currently Cuisine Soleil products are only available in Canada. You can browse their list of retailers to find some close to you. You can also order these online.

And now it’s your turn!

The great folks at Cuisine Soleil want you to give these three flours a try for yourself. So I’ve got two gift packs of organic gluten free flours to give away to two lucky readers. Each pack will include one millet flour, one lentil flour and one buckwheat flour – all in 1 kg packages. You can use them to make the recipes I’ve created here or you can use them in your own awesome creations!

Use the Rafflecopter widget below to comment and share what you would use lentil flour, millet flour and buckwheat flour for to be entered to win. Please, just one entry per person. This contest is open to Canadian residents only.

Thanks so much for this opportunity!

We really miss breads in our house so I think I would try baking foccacia (maybe pancakes) with the buckwheat flour, pizza dough (and some muffins) with the millet flour, and with the lentil flour I would make some chocolate cupcakes!

…I can’t wait to see the recipes you’re going to share!

I would make bajra roti flatbread with the millet flour, pancakes with the buckwheat flour, and pasta with the lentil flour.

I would make buckwheat crepes with the buckwheat flour, pasta with the lentil flour, and some gluten free bread using the millet flour.

I love your site and I love to bake muffins.
After being GF for a long time, I’m now moving to vegan this week and so your website is now even more useful to me!

I’m relatively new to try out gluten free baking so all of these flours would be welcome in my pantry. I’m a big muffin/scone lover so I’d like to find a good vegan buckwheat muffin. For the lentil flour, maybe a vegan pizza crust. And for the millet flour a nice vegan bread. Thanks so much! *crossingfingers*

I’m only just learning about gluten free flours so I don’t know what I would try first – probably muffins, that seems fool-proof :) Or pizza crust or a socca-style crust.

I’m just starting to explore gluten free stuff (my sister was recently diagnosed with an intolerance) so I’m not exactly sure what I’d make but I’m excited to experiment!
